CHARLESTON, S.C. - Currently ranked second in the CBS Sports Men's Basketball RPI Standings, the College of Charleston men's basketball team returns to action on Tuesday when Old Dominion visits TD Arena. Action is set for 7:00 p.m. 

STORYLINES

• The Charleston Cougars and Old Dominion Monarchs will meet for the fourth time in program history on Tuesday night in TD Arena with the Cougars holding the 3-0 series advantage.
• This will be the first game of the season where Charleston will be favored in the KenPom rankings.
• The Cougars are currently receiving votes in both the AP Poll and USA Today poll, as well as being ranked first in RPI by CBS Sports after winning five straight and taking home the Charleston Classic title.
• CofC is off to their best start since 2011-2012 when the Cougars went 12-1 to open the campaign
• Jaylon Scott has played hero several times this season, making game changing three-pointers vs. Richmond and Kent State to help the Cougars remain undefeated on their home court.
•  Old Dominion returns to Charleston after participating in the Charleston Classic less than two weeks ago. The Monarchs and Cougars were on opposite sides of the bracket with ODU falling in the opening round to Virginia Tech 75-71. The Cougars defeated the Hokies 77-75 in the championship game.

BATTLE TESTED

• Charleston opened the season playing six straight programs that participated in 2022 March Madness (Chattanooga, #1 North Carolina, Richmond, Davidson, Colorado State, Virginia Tech)
• All seven of the opposing teams the Cougars opened the season with were rated higher than the Cougars in the KenPom rating

RECEIVING RECOGNITION

• The Cougars have been rewarded for their efforts and are receiving votes in both major polls and are currently ranked #8 in the CollegeInsider. com Mid-Major Top 25 poll.
• CBS Sports published their first RPI rating of the season on 11/27 with the College of Charleston Cougars leading the nation. RPI factors in a team's schedule along with their wins and losses. Since the initial rankings, the Cougars have moved into second in the nation. 

INTERNATIONAL NIGHT

• Tuesday is International Night in TD Arena where Charleston will celebrate our international student-athletes.

GAMEDAY REMINDERS  

• Doors will open 1.5 hours prior to tipoff
• Concession stands will open when doors open, and the Cougar Spirit Shop will open one hour prior to tipoff.
• The TD Arena Box Office is open Monday – Friday beginning at 9AM and opens 3 hours prior to tipoff for Saturday & Sunday games. Tickets can be purchased at www.cofcsports.com/tickets
• If you selected mobile tickets, add your tickets to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay App prior to arriving at TD Arena for the smoothest entry experience.
