CHARLESTON, S.C. -- The College of Charleston women's tennis team (5-5, 0-0) cruised to a 5-0 win over Richmond at the CofC Tennis Center on Friday morning. The win moves the Cougars to 5-5 on the season.
Slade Coetzee and
Halli Trinkle continued their dominance in singles play, picking up wins in the first and second flights, respectively. The two also improved to 6-2 in doubles action with a 7-6 win.
Elizabeth Nowak and
Helena Huff also picked up singles wins. The other two matches went unfinished.

"With the uncertainty of weather forecast, we started singles first," head coach
Angelo Anastopoulo said. "The team handled the change in the normal format with A+ marks.
Elizabeth Nowak did a great job coming back from 2-5 down in the second set to win 7-5 and clinch the match."
