CHARLESTON, S.C.—College of Charleston had snapped its three-game losing streak after a win by a score of 55-47 against Hofstra on Sunday afternoon at TD Arena.

The Cougars moved to 7-8 and 2-3 in the CAA. Hofstra dropped to 8-9 overall and 2-4 in the CAA.

Jada Logan led the Cougars with 25 points and tied with the team-high in rebounds with six.
Anika McGarity and
Alexis Andrews were the other two Cougars with six rebounds on the day.

Brandy Thomas scored a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds.

The Cougars will continue the homestretch on Friday, January 20 for a 7 p.m. tip-off against Monmouth.

- Charleston began with an 8-4 run with 5:01 in the first.
- The Cougars broke further with a 6-0 run.
- College of Charleston finished 6 for 8 in the first quarter of play with a score of 17-8.
- Cougars posted a 10-point lead with just four minutes left in the second quarter, the score at 27-17.
- Pride chipped away and went on a 6-0 run with 1:21 left on the clock, which put the score at 27-23.
- Charleston started with a 9-4 run over the Pride to begin the third.
- Hofstra combatted with for a 6-2 run to bring the score to 42-34.
- Pride with nine points in the third, and Charleston shot 3-for-13 in the field.
