Women's Golf Hosts Edisto Island Invitational

EDISTO ISLAND, S.C. – The College of Charleston women's golf team will host its second tournament of the fall this Monday and Tuesday at the Plantation Course in Edisto Island.
The Cougars are coming off a sixth-place finish at the Evie Odom Invitational in Virginia Beach. Othilie Lied was named the CAA Golfer of the Week after notching a top-10 finish while playing as an individual. The senior from Norway was the top-ranked individual and top Cougar at the tournament, going 69-72-71 at Princess Anne Country Club.
Emma Schimpf is the back-to-back defending individual champion at Edisto while the Cougars won in 2021 and were runners-up in 2022.
This is the third year the Cougars have hosted the tournament and will welcome 15 teams to the Lowcountry.

Dates: Monday, October 16 – Tuesday, October 17
Location: Plantation Course, Edisto Island, S.C.
Course Information: Par 71 – 5,980 yards
Format: 54-Hole Tournament (36 on Monday and 18 on Tuesday)
Tee Times: 18 holes - Friday, 9:00 a.m.
