Appel, Reuland Pace Cougars on Day Two at Daniel Island

DANIEL ISLAND, S.C. – Loran Appel and Zach Reuland led the College of Charleston men's golf team on Day Two of the Daniel Island Intercollegiate shooting 71 (-1) each.

Appel jumped 12 spots on the leaderboard with his second round while Reuland bolted 22 spots up the standings.

Charleston carded a 289 (+1) Monday at Ralston Creek Course as a whole and sit -1 on the Par 72 course.

Jack Tickle still leads the Cougars at 142 (-2) and T14 after shooting a 73 (+1) Tuesday. Appel's (E) strong showing Tuesday moved him to second in the standings for the Cougars while Kieron van Wyk (+3), Waymon Thomas (+3) and Reuland (+4) round out the lineup.
