Schimpf Sits Among Top-10 in Miami After Day One

MIAMI, Fla. – Emma Schimpf shot a -5 (67) in Round 1 of the Miami Invitational and followed with an even 72 in Round 2 Monday to lead the College of Charleston women's golf team.
Schimpf was one of three Cougars to shoot under par Monday as Viktoria Hund (141, -3) and Raegan Propes (142, -2) also sit among the Top-15 of the leaderboard. All three shot at-or-under par in both rounds Monday with Schmipf's 67 (-5) leading the way.
Emily Dunlap (153, +9) and Othilie Lied (155, +11) rounded out the Cougar lineup.
