MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – College of Charleston women's basketball will travel to Pennsylvania to face Robert Morris University on Saturday in the UMPC Events Center.
Charleston has only met the Colonials once before in program history, falling 54-49 in 1991.
The Cougars are coming off a thrilling win at TD Arena, as they erased a 22-point deficit in the second half to comeback and defeat Jacksonville State 69-58 on Monday night.
Taryn Barbot paced Charleston with 21 points, adding eight rebounds and two steals in the effort. It marks the second 20-point performance for the freshman this season.
Jada Logan recorded 13 points and a season-high 11 rebounds for her second double-double this season. Logan added a season-best three steals defensively.
The Cougars enter the matchup with a 6-2 record, their best start since 2008. A win on Saturday would give Charleston their best record thus far since the 1988 season, where the Cougars went undefeated until January.
