
Cougars Return Home to Host SC State

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston women's basketball returns home for the remainder of 2023, hosting South Carolina State on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in TD Arena.
The Bulldogs currently have the edge in the series between the two, as Charleston sits with a 13-22 record against SC State. In the most recent matchup from 2019, the Cougars took home the win 78-55.
Charleston is returning to TD Arena after going 1-1 during the previous week. The Cougars erased a 22-point deficit to defeat Jacksonville State before its comeback attempt at Robert Morris fell short.
Taryn Barbot paced the Cougars with 19.5 points per game. The freshman tallied 21 points and eight boards in the victory, followed by 18 points in the setback.
