RICHMOND, Va. – The February 25 game between Stony Brook and Charleston has been selected for the CAA's Wild Card selection in its men's basketball television package on CBS Sports Network. Stony Brook and Charleston will square off at 12 p.m. at TD Arena in Charleston. The game was originally slated for a 4:00 p.m. start.
Charleston is 25-3 and 13-2 in the CAA and has been ranked as high as No. 18 in the AP poll this season. The Cougars' 25 wins lead the nation, while their .893 winning percentage places them third out of all 363 Division I teams. Charleston is 7-1 against last year's NCAA Tournament field and holds five wins against defending conference champions. Dalton Bolon leads five Cougars in double figures in scoring.
Stony Brook is in its first year in the CAA and heads into the weekend at 5-9 in its inaugural league campaign. The Seawolves, who will make their first visit to Charleston since 1998, are led by Tyler Stephenson-Moore, who ranks in the top 10 in the CAA in
scoring, and Frankie Policelli, who leads the league in rebounding and double-doubles.
