NORFOLK, VA.—The College of Charleston men's tennis team defeated Norfolk State 5-0 in Virginia on Saturday afternoon.
Matias Gaedechens and
Jordyn Larke picked up a 6-2 win on court two.
Noah Borges and
Johnny Wang picked up a win on court three. With the wins on courts two and three, Charleston picked up the early 1-0 lead over Norfolk State.
The Cougars remained hot in singles with wins on courts one, three, five, and six.
Mattia Bernardi (court one) improved his record to 7-5. Gaedechens moved to 5-4 and Wang (court six) brought his record even to 7-7.
