WILMINGTON, N.C.—The College of Charleston women's tennis team won 6-1 against conference opponent, UNCW, on Saturday, April 15 in Wilmington to close out the regular season.
Maja Jekauc and
Klara Vukicevic as a pair scored a 6-2 win on court three.
Ella Faessler and
Nicole Stephens remained hot as a pair with a 6-4 win on court two which brought their season record to 11-3 in doubles. With the wins on courts two and three in doubles, Charleston jumped to an early 1-0 lead.
Charleston picked up five wins in singles.
Halli Trinkle was the only Cougar to force a third set in her match. Stephens extended her win streak in singles to 14 on the season.
