WILLIAMSBURG, VA.—The College of Charleston men's tennis team fell 4-2 to Hofstra on Thursday morning in Williamsburg, Virginia in the first round of the CAA Championship tournament.
Hofstra picked up two quick wins on courts one and three in doubles to give them the 1-0 advantage heading into singles play.
Hofstra picked up quick wins on courts two and three in singles to bring them ahead 3-0. Charleston fought back with wins on courts five and six to bring the score to 3-2.
Noah Borges forced a third set against the Pride but fell just shy of the match.
Charleston finishes the 2023 season with a 10-11 record.
