Women's Golf Travels to Music City

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The College of Charleston women's golf team will travel to Nashville this weekend for the Mason Rudolph Championship hosted by Vanderbilt.
The Cougars are coming off a 14th place finish at the Cougar Classic. Rookie Emilie von Finckenstein led CofC as individual with a T20 placement and will make her debut in the lineup this weekend.
Vanderbilt Golf's annual tournament is named for Tennessee golfing legend Mason Rudolph, who after a long and fruitful 21-year playing career in professional golf, joined the Commodore program as the team's head coach in 1992 for five seasons and then served as the Director of Golf for another five seasons after his stint as head coach.
von Finckenstein will enter a veteran lineup featuring Viktoria Hund, Emma Schimpf, Othilie Lied and Adrian Anderson. The field features seven team ranked in the WGCA Top 25.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
Dates: Friday, September 22 - Sunday, September 24
Location: Vanderbilt Legends Club North Course, Franklin, Tenn.
Course Information: Par 72 – 6,491 yards
Format: 54-Hole Tournament (36 on Monday and 18 on Tuesday)
Tee Times: 18 holes Friday and Saturday, 8:30 a.m. CT start on holes 1 and 10; 18 holes Sunday, 8 a.m. start on holes 1 and 10
