RICHMOND, Va. - Charleston swept the 2026 CAA Women's Golf awards as Molly Hardwick (Golfer of the Year), Carys Fennessy (Rookie of the Year) and Jamie Futrell (Coach of the Year) earned the recognition as voted on by the league's coaches.
Hardwick picked up her first CAA Golfer of the Year honor after being the league's top-ranked golfer (No. 101), according to Clipp'd. She earned medalist honors at the Edisto Island Invitational in October, earning one of her four Women's Golfer of the Week honors. The senior from Nashville, Tenn., also racked up five top-10 finishes this season, including a sixth-place mark at the 2026 CAA Women's Golf Championship.
Fennessy picked up a unanimous selection for Rookie of the Year honors after a stellar first campaign with the Cougars. The freshman was ranked first among freshmen and third overall in the CAA this season after turning in a trio of top-five finishes, including a fourth-place showing at last week's conference tournament.
Cougars' Head Coach Futrell earned his seventh accolade as the league's top coach, going back-to-back after securing the recognition in 2025. CofC's longtime leader helped his program earn its fourth CAA conference title in the last five years and bumped the championship total to seven. Futrell guided a pair of All-CAA First Team honorees and major award winners in Hardwick and Fennessy, while seeing Adrian Anderson and Emilie von Finckenstein garner Second Team honors.
Anderson and von Finckenstein both earned Second Team honors. Anderson ranked ninth in the CAA Clipp'd standing and finished the season with three top ten finishes, including ninth at the CAA Championship. With her Second Team selection, Anderson will finish her career with four consecutive All-CAA honors.
von Finckenstein ranked seventh in the CAA Clipp'd standings, leading the Cougars with a third-place finish at the 2026 CAA Championship. The Germany native finished the season with five top 20 finishes and was named CAA Golfer of the Week after her runner-up performance at the Tot Hill Farm Invitational. This is von Finckenstein's first career CAA postseason honor.
The Cougars will continue the 2025-26 season when they compete at the NCAA Louisville Regional in Simpsonville, Kentucky May 11-13 at the University of Louisville Golf Course.
