CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston women's basketball team improved to 5-2 in CAA play after taking down UNCW 94-59 Sunday afternoon.
Five Cougars ended the day in double digits, including
Alexis Andrews, downing five baskets from beyond the arc for a total of 22 points.
Jenna Annecchiarico tallied her third double-double of the season behind 12 points and 10 assists.
Naylee Cortes found a career high eight rebounds in today's matchup.
The Cougars came out hot, never giving the Seahawks the chance to catch up. Charleston outscored UNCW in all four quarters, slowly building the lead to a dominant 35-point win.
Jada Logan gained five rebounds for the day, pushing her over the 750 career rebounds milestone.
Six Cougars saw buckets beyond the paint, including
Marissa Brown and
Jami Hill who entered the game in the fourth quarter to contribute to the scoring frenzy.
