Cougars Dominate Singles to Take Down ECU

CHARLESTON, S.C.- College of Charleston women's tennis finished their opening weekend 2-0 at home, defeating ECU on Sunday 6-1.
The Cougars began the day dropping the doubles point, but bounced back to dominate singles play, taking all six singles points.
Jaiden McKee was the first to finish, overpowering her opponent with a pair of 6-1 wins.
Maggie Cubitt dropped her first single set 6-0, but rallied back to take the singles point, winning the second set 6-1 to force a third set. A close 7-5 third set gave Cubitt the win.
