Women's Tennis Defeats Coastal Carolina in First Road Match

CONWAY, S.C.- College of Charleston women's tennis defeated Coastal Carolina 4-3 on Wednesday afternoon. Charleston moves to 3-0 overall this season with their first road win.
The Cougars dominated in singles play to take the win after dropping the doubles point to start the match.
The day was highlighted by Maja Jekauc, who battled in three sets to secure the victory and give the Cougars their fourth point and the overall win. Halli Trinkle also fought in three sets to secure a singles point for Charleston.
Oziera Ahmad found her third straight win in singles play, remaining undefeated this season. Elle Bredemann also found a comfortable win in two sets.
