CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston hosts Hampton for the first time in program history Nov. 1 and 2. Serve times are set for 6 p.m. and 2 p.m. with both matches airing on FloVolleyball.
Saturday's game is 70s Day, and fans can participate in a raffle for a chance to win Charleston corduroy hats.

OPENING SERVE:
- Charleston lost its final non-conference match on Tuesday, falling in four sets to Coastal Carolina.
- Cailyn Bolser had seven kills, three blocks and a career-high five digs in her first start of the season.
- Lauren Fowler recorded a career-high five kills and three blocks, including a pair of solo blocks on Tuesday. Fowler hit .400 in two sets.
- Tynley Smeltzer passed Jennifer Rodriguez for eighth all-time in program history with 1,428 career digs. Mary Sabatino is seventh on the list with 1,523 digs.
- Charleston remains first in the country with 82 solo blocks and 264.5 total blocks. The Cougars are also fourth in the nation with 1,577 team digs.
- Emily Banitt enters the weekend tied with Saint Louis' Carlie Rodgers for the lead among active players in career sets played with 527.
SCOUTING HAMPTON:
- Hampton is 0-24 this season and 0-12 in the CAA. Ronaldo Pacheco is in his first season as head coach of the Pirates. Madison Clark paces the offense with 156 kills and tallied 39 across nine sets last weekend against Campbell. Kylah Hunter has 237 digs, good for 3.00 digs/set.
SERIES HISTORY:
- Charleston is 3-0 all-time against Hampton and have won all three matches in straight sets. The teams first met on Sept. 5, 1998, and first played one another in the CAA last season in Hampton, Va.
UP NEXT:
- Charleston takes its final regular season road trip Nov. 9 and 10 when it plays UNCW. Opening serves are scheduled for 4 p.m. and 1 p.m. from Wilmington.
