Williamson Signs with Cougars

CHARLESTON, S.C. - College of Charleston head women's golf coach Jamie Futrell has announced the signing of Imogen "Immy" Williamson to the 2025-26 Cougar roster.
The United Kingdom native comes to Charleston with international experience, having been selected to play for Team England on six occasions at the U16 and U18 level.
"Immy has a ton of international experience and has the skills to become a great collegiate player," said Futrell. "She has a great chance to make an immediate impact to our program. With her skill set, the sky is the limit for her."
Additionally, she is a 2X Cheshire U18 County Champion and placed fourth at the U18 English Girls Stroke Play Championship.
"I chose CofC after a visit in October 2023. I loved the city and I could definitely see myself living there and attending The College! The facilities that will be available to me in Charleston are fantastic and the coaching team of Coach Futrell and Jodee were so welcoming and supportive, which was the most important consideration when making my decision to join the Cougars," said Williamson. "I will very much enjoy being an athlete at CofC and can't wait to play my best golf for the team starting in the fall 2025."
