CHARLESTON, S.C.- The College of Charleston women's basketball team will return to action on Saturday, November 9 to host Robert Morris inside TD Arena. Tipoff is slated for noon.

OPENING TIP
- Charleston is coming off a 98-point victory over Meredith in their home opener on Monday morning.
- Four Cougars gathered new career-highs, led by Jami Hill who knocked down 28-points including six buckets behind the paint.
- Charleston begins the new season after an impressive 2023-24 season, finishing 22-10. The Cougars gathered the most wins in a season since 2009-10 and competed in the postseason for the first time since the 2013-14 season.
- The Cougars enter the matchup 1-0 on the season after a win in front of a crowd of 4,399, the largest for a women's basketball game in TD Arena history.
BARBOT SHOW
- Taryn Barbot began the season with a 15-point game and a new career-high with seven assists.
- The sophomore guard enters November continuing to make history by earning the program's first CAA Preseason Player of the Year nomination, voted on by the conference's coaches.
- The New York native was named the program's first rookie of the year after an impressive 2023-24 campaign, earning six weekly awards and starting all 17 matchups for CofC.
- Barbot averaged 14.6 points in her debut year and scored a season-high 36 points on January 14- the most by any CAA player last season.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
- The Cougar's hold a 1-2 record versus RMU after dropping a road matchup to the Colonials in December of 2023.
- Robert Morris will come to Charleston for the first time on Saturday, as the prior three matchups between the two teams were played in Moon Township or at a neutral site.
- CofC's only win versus the Colonials occurred in 1982 where the Cougars won 74-56.
- Charleston has never lost to Robert Morris by more than five points.
- RMU stands 1-0 on the season, after taking down Point Park on Wednesday afternoon, 68-44.
BY THE NUMBERS
- Charleston topped the CAA last season in offensive rebounds per game and landed 16th in the country as well.
- The 98-point victory margin on Monday morning was the largest in program history, while 124 points was the most points scored by the program in a single game.
- Five Cougars tallied double-digit scoring in the season opener.
