JACKSONVILLE, Ala.- The College of Charleston women's basketball team moves to 3-0 on the road after taking down Jacksonville State on Wednesday evening, 66-47.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Cougars fell behind in the first ten but outscored the Gamecocks in the final three frames for the win.
Taylor Barbot downed a three-pointer late in the second to tie the game at 27, after suffering a nine-point deficit.
Jazmyn Stone was fouled at the arc in the final minute of the first half. After going 3-3 from the line, the Cougars took the lead into the break.
The two teams exchanged the lead six times before a breakout fourth quarter put the Cougars on top, outscoring the Gamecocks 20-3.
Charleston outrebounded their opponent 48-34, finishing 17 points on second chances.

LEADING COUGARS

Taylor Barbot led the team in scoring, tallying 13 points on the day along with four assists and seven rebounds.
Lara Rohkohl earned a season-high 15 rebounds on the night for the Cougars.
Leah Philpotts tallied her first double-digit scoring game of the season, knocking down 11 points and going 2-3 from the three-point line.
