Stonkus Named CAA Rookie of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. - College of Charleston first year Justas Stonkus has been named the CAA Rookie of the Week after his performance at Saint Joseph's on December 10.
Stonkus scored seven points in 15 minutes off the bench to help Charleston rally for a 78-75 victory at Saint Joseph's last Tuesday. With the Cougars trailing by 11 with 10:30 to play, Stonkus hit a layup and drained a three as part of a 15-2 run that put Charleston ahead. The Lithuanian added three rebounds vs. the Hawks and is averaging 11.0 ppg over his last three contests.
This is the first conference honor of his career.
