CHARLESTON, S.C.- The College of Charleston men's tennis team fell at home to Wofford College 5-2 on Sunday afternoon.

The Cougars returned home to host their home opener on February 25 at Patriots Point after facing six straight road matches.

Wofford grabbed the doubles point to start the matchup, winning sets on courts one and three.
Â
Matias Gaedechens fought back from a 6-0 loss in the first set to win his court, putting the Cougars on the board.
Juan Diego Rojas Mora also was able to grab a win for Charleston in the same fashion, fighting back from a first set loss to give the Cougars another point.

Three other Cougars battled in a three-set match, but were unable to secure the singles point, giving Wofford the overall win.
