CHARLESTON, S.C.- The College of Charleston men's tennis team fell in a tight matchup to Rider, 4-3 before defeating Georgetown College 4-1.

The Cougars fell in doubles play, giving Rider the 1-0 advantage heading into singles play.

Charleston fought in singles, splitting the six matches for three points. Two Cougars battled in a three set match, but were unable to seal the victory.
Up next, the Cougars found the doubles point versus Georgetown College to take the 1-0 lead.
Charleston went on to quickly win three singles courts to take the overall win, leaving two matches unfinished.
