CHARLESTON, S.C.- The College of Charleston women's tennis defeated Murray State 4-3 on Monday afternoon at Patriots Point.

Murray State came away with the doubles point, but a strong performance in singles play propelled the Cougars to the victory.

Halli Trinkle was the first to finish for Charleston with a 6-1, 6-3 win over her opponent.
Oziera Ahmad quickly followed with a dominant 6-1, 6-2 win.

Maja Jekauc fought on the first court to a three-set match, taking the win to secure the fourth point for the Cougars and the overall win.
