CHARLESTON, S.C.- The College of Charleston men's tennis team fell in a tight matchup on Sunday afternoon, 4-3.
The Cougars started strong, sweeping all the doubles court.
Continuing their dominance, Charleston won the first three sets in singles before Delaware began to catch up. The Blue Hens tied the match 3-3, leaving the winner to be decided by court 4. Delaware came away with the win in a pair of nail-biting 7-6 sets.
"
"Today was a great effort from the team," says Head Coach
Jay Bruner. "We played with focus and positive energy in doubles and cam out confident in singles. In big moments, we need to trust what we did to get there."
