ORLANDO, Fla.- The College of Charleston women's tennis team wrapped up their trip in the sunshine state with a 6-1 victory over Sacred Heart.
The Cougars started the day off sweeping doubles play to take the first point.
Charleston went on to win five of their six singles matches. Oziera Ahmad had a strong showing, quickly handling her opponent with a 6-0, 6-1 victory. Peyton Brotzman fought back from a first set loss, taking two consecutive sets to seal the win. Francesca Salvato battled in her second set to find the win and secure the match in two sets.
