The Cougars dropped the doubles point to start the day in a close 7-6 battle on court two, leaving a tied match on court three unfinished.

Juan Diego Rojas Mora secured the Cougars' only point of the day in a three-set match.
Mattia Bernardi fought in three sets but fell in a tiebreaker.
