WILLIAMSBURG, Va.- College of Charleston men's tennis took down North Carolina A&T in the first round of the CAA Championship, 4-2.
 
The Cougars secured the doubles point to begin the day, finding wins on courts 1 and 3. Mattia Bernardi and Eddie Vo fought to a 7-5 victory to clinch the first point of the day.
 
Charleston went on to win three singles matches to secure the victory. Vo found the first win of singles play with a dominant 6-1, 6-2 victory. JD Rojas Mora quickly followed, supported by a 6-0 set to find the win.
 
The Aggies were able to follow up with two wins on courts 3 and 1, bringing the match down to the final two courts.  Zac Larke downed his opponent in two sets to send Charleston to the second round of the tournament.
