Beach Volleyball Earns No. 4 Seed in Sun Belt Championship

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The College of Charleston beach volleyball team has earned the No. 4 seed in the upcoming Sun Belt Beach Volleyball Championship in Huntsville, Alabama from April 25-27.
The Cougars first round opponent in the single-elimination style tournament will be the No. 5 Mercer Bears. The teams previously met on March 29 in North Florida where the Bears secured a 4-1 win over the Cougars. Elizabeth Curry and Brooke Hoven secured the win in the No. 4 dual.
Charleston enters the tournament with a league record of 3-4 holding wins over Louisiana-Monore, Southern Miss, and Stephen F. Austin. Mercer enters will a league record of 2-4 with wns over Southern Miss and the Cougars.
The match will be broadcast live on ESPN+ on Thursday, April 25 at 10:30 a.m.
