WILMINGTON, N.C. - College of Charleston baseball had a another big day at the plate in a 12-3 win at UNCW. The Cougars win is their sixth straight, clinching the series win over the Seahawks.
Charleston jumped out in front in the first when
Cole Singsank smacked a three-run homer. UNCW answered with two runs in the bottom half to make it 3-2. The Cougars came right back with RBIs from
Dariyan Pendergrass and
Avery Neaves in the second to make it 5-2. Neaves then homered in the fifth to make it 6-2.
Charleston put the game away with a five-run eighth inning. A balk brought in one run, then
Trotter Harlan drove in two with a two-out hit.
Cole Mathis and Singsank capped off the inning with bases loaded walks, pushing the lead to 12-3. The Cougars bullpen hurled four shutout innings to keep the Seahawks well behind.

- Will Baumhofer and Dariyan Pendergrass both finished 2-for-4 with two runs scored, a walk and run scored.
- Cole Singsank finished 1-for-3 with four RBI, two walks and two runs scored.
- Aidan Hunter moved to 4-1 on the season. Hunter pitched five innings, allowing three runs from six hits and two walks, striking out three.
- Alex Lyon threw three innings of shutout relief.
