College of Charleston women's basketball head coach
Robin Harmony has announced the hiring of Tyler Clark as an assistant coach prior to the 2024-25 season.
"We are excited to add Coach Clark to our women's basketball staff," said Harmony. "He is young, hardworking and will be a great addition to our program."
Clark comes from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where he served two seasons as the women's basketball Director of Operations and one season as Special Assistant Coach. He assisted with guard play and recruiting operations, helping the Mocs win back-to-back Southern Conference titles and advanced to the NCAA Tournament with an overall record of 48-18.
"With Coach Clark coming from a back-to-back NCAA tournament team, we are looking forward to the energy and contributions he will bring to Charleston," Harmony says.
Before UTC, Clark served as a graduate assistant for the women's basketball team at Wheeling University (W. Va.). At Wheeling he was able to coach the leading Division II rebounder Lilly Ritz. Clark also earned his MBA in Business Administration while at Wheeling University.
Originally from Ohio, Clark earned a Bachelor of Science in early childhood education from Bowling Green University. He currently resides in Summerville, S.C. with his wife Emily, daughter Ellie Ray and two golden retrievers, Bowen & Miles.
