CHARLESTON, S.C. - College of Charleston head men's golf coach Mitch Krywulycz has announced the program's 2024-25 competition schedule. The defending CAA Champions will play in ten tournaments with the hopes of qualifying for the NCAA Regionals and Championship competitions in May.
"This year's schedule continues to build on our programs plan to compete on major championship and PGA Tour caliber golf courses. As a bonus, we have multiple events on our schedule that will offer PGA Tour starts to the collegiate winners," said Krywulycz. "The high level of host courses along with the other elite teams they attract will no doubt excite and challenge our student athletes."
The Cougars will start the season at the Visit Knoxville Collegiate (Sept. 6-8) before immediately traveling to Toledo, Ohio for the Inverness Intercollegiate (Sept. 9-10). Krywulycz's program will be return Oct. 14-15 at Qubein Cup in Greensboro, North Carolina before ending the fall portion of the schedule at the White Sands Bahamas Invitational.
Charleston will open the spring slate in Charleston at the Battle at Briar's Creek before making the trip to Puerto Rico for the Puerto Rico Classic (Feb. 10-12). The Cougars will play in three remaining regular season tournaments before the CAA Championship April 20-22 in Swainton, New Jersey.
The Cougars will play at three PGA Tour Exemption tournaments at the White Sands Bahamas Invitational, General Hackler Championship (March 16-18), and the Augusta Haskins Invitational (April 5-8).
Charleston will host two tournaments, the Battle at Briar's Creek (Feb. 3-4) and the Hootie Intercollegiate in conjunction with the University of South Carolina (March 23-25).
