
Men's Soccer Ranked #23 in National Polls

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston men's soccer is ranked 23rd in the United Soccer Coaches and Top Drawer Soccer College Soccer National Ranking.
The Cougars are off to a 6-0-0 start in 2024, the best start to a season since the 2007 squad also began the year 6-0-0. Charleston was ranked 25th in the United Soccer Coaches Poll (formerly National Soccer Coaches Association of America) on Oct. 12, 2010 after posting an 8-2-1 record to start that campaign.
In 2024, CofC is one of the most prolific offenses in the country. Entering Sept. 16, the Cougars lead the nation in assists per game (4.00), goal differential (13), points per game (11.00), total assists (24) and total points (66) and are second among Division I schools in scoring offense (3.50) and total goals (21). Charleston is one-of-four schools in the country to still have a 1.000 win percentage, joining Penn, Seton Hall and CAA rival Elon.
Charleston looks to extend its win streak to seven on Tuesday, Sept. 17 when it hosts Furman at Patriots Point. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
