HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The full court press from Charleston forced 18 turnovers, converting into 15 points. A poised Cougar offense allowed only one point off turnovers.
  • The Seawolves began the third with a 6-0 run, but back-to-back threes from Taryn Barbot extended the Charleston lead.
  • Entering the final frame with a single-digit lead, McKinley Brooks-Sumpter pushed the lead back to 11 after getting fouled on a layup for a three-point play.
  • Taylor Barbot ended the contest with a drive to the basket for a 13-point victory, earning their second-straight win.
