HIGH POINT, N.C. – College of Charleston volleyball lost to High Point in five sets (25-23, 25-21, 21-25, 24-26, 7-15) Tuesday evening at the Millis Center.

The Cougars sit at 15-8 while the Panthers improve to 11-9.

CRITICAL POINTS AGAINST HIGH POINT:

Graduate student Izzy Marinelli hit .302 with 19 kills, seven digs and five blocks.
Freshman Caroline Noonan added four blocks along 15 kills and a .483 attacking percentage.
Charleston hit .345 in set two.
Down 24-18 in the fourth set, CofC went on an 8-0 to level the frame at 24 all backed behind seven kills and an Avery Alexander service ace.

OF NOTE:

Charleston and High Point are 1-1 in the all-time series after meeting for just the second time Tuesday.
Marinelli has19 kills in three matches this season.
Junior Lauren Dow surpassed 800 assists on the campaign with 38 Tuesday.
Alexander tied her career-best with three service aces.
