CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston women's basketball team will return home to TD Arena, hosting Northeastern for the Black History Month celebration game. Tipoff is set for 2:00 p.m.

OPENING TIP

Charleson returns home after opening the weekend on the road facing North Carolina A&T on Friday night, falling to the Aggies 71-59.
The Cougars fall to 6-4 in conference play, tied for fifth place with Campbell and UNCW.
Taryn Barbot continues to lead the team offensively, averaging 14.7 points per game, while Taylor Barbot follows closely with 11.9 points per contest.
Taylor Barbot led the way in the Cougars' latest contest against the Aggies, leading the team with 16 points. Nyah Willis knocked down 15 points in her return to Greensboro, earning a career-high six steals against her former team.

The Cougars rank 2nd in the nation in turnover margin, boasting an impressive +10.7 differential per game.
Charleston ranks 6th nationally in turnovers forced per game, averaging 24.5 takeaways per contest.
CofC ranks 8th in the country in steals per game, with 13.0 steals per matchup.
The Cougars are 9th nationally in offensive rebounds per game, grabbing 16.3 boards per game.
Charleston's defense is among the best, ranking 15th nationally in scoring defense, allowing just 54.6 points per game.
Junior forward Lara Rohkohl continues to dominate the boards, ranking 8th in offensive rebounds per game and 16th in blocks per game.
The team ranks 25th in the country in scoring margin, outscoring opponents by 18.3 points per game.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT

Northeastern arrives in the low country after a loss to Campbell on Friday night, 81-41. The Huskies are 0-10 in conference play and 1-18 on the season.
Abby Jegede leads Northeastern in scoring, averaging 16.1 points per game and has reached double-digit scoring in the past four consecutive contests.
The last time the Cougars met the Huskies was last season inside the Cabot Center, where Charleston took an 83-46 win. Taryn Barbot led the game with 26 points after knocking down eight triples and shooting perfect from the free throw line.
