WILMINGTON, N.C. – The College of Charleston women's tennis team defeated UNCW on the road on Saturday afternoon, 4-3.
The Cougars dropped the doubles point, but won four of six singles matches to secure the win over the Seahawks.
Oziera Ahmad grabbed the first win on court 3 followed by
Maja Jekauc on court 1.
Jaiden McKee earned her eight-straight singles win to tie the score at 3-3.
Isabella De Luise battled in three sets to take the win on court 6 and secure the victory for the Cougars.
