CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston women's tennis team split their weekend matches, falling to Campbell before picking up a win over Miami (OH).
In Friday's contest, Charleston dropped the doubles point before splitting the singles points with the Camels, giving Campbell the edge.
Maja Jekauc picked up a win on court 1 while
Oziera Ahmad added a point for the Cougars on court 3.
Sia Cariov rounded out the scoring on court 4 defeating her opponent in two sets.
Charleston bounced back on Saturday with a win over Miami, winning four courts in singles play to secure the win. Ahmad picked up her second win of the weekend in two sets while
Jaiden McKee returned to the lineup to add a point on court 5. Cariov battled in three sets to her second win of the weekend while
Isabella De Luise rounded out the match on court 6 with a victory.
Charleston will return to action for a three-match streak beginning on Monday, March 10 facing Kennesaw State. Doubles play is set to begin at 1:30 p.m.
