ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - The College of Charleston women's golf team took second place at the Coach Mo Classic hosted by Furman at the St. Johns Golf Club on Tuesday afternoon. The No. 44 Cougars finished four strokes behind No. 39 Purdue and 12 strokes ahead of third place Charlotte. It marks Charleston's sixth top five team finish of the season.

Emma Schimpf led the Cougars in the individual standings placing fourth. She totaled nine birdies in three rounds and led the field in total pars (39) along with teammate
Emilia von Glahn.
Junior
Adrian Anderson recorded a 2-under, 70 during Tuesday's final round, the lowest round of the tournament for the Cougars. She also led the field in par 5 scoring (4.58) to finish in seventh place.
Molly Hardwick was the final Cougar in the individual top ten at T10.Â
The Cougars will now shift focus to the upcoming CAA Championship held April 11-13 in Southport, N.C. Charleston finished in second place last year after winning three straight championships in 2021, 2022, and 2023.Â
