
Track and Field Heads to Durham for Duke Invitational

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston will send 20 athletes to compete in 12 individual events at the Duke Invitational this weekend at Morris Williams Stadium in Durham, N.C.
Emily Kreek is in three events, including the 100m and both hurdles, and enters the meet ranked sixth in school history in the 100m hurdles. Caroline Cassidy will look to move up in the 400m after entering the record book in ninth place at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge.
The 800m and 1500m feature four Cougars in the record book. Andie Harding (fourth), Savannah Stoutt (sixth) and Abby Mogg (seventh) are ranked in the 800m while Stoutt (fifth) and Jeorgi Gavalas (fourth) are on the 1500m list. Cayden Crismon will run the 5000m and is third in school history at that distance.
Tonet Tallie and Madison Jent are second and third, respectively, in the pole vault. Abby Fush leads the jumpers with her rankings of fourth in the triple jump and eighth in the long jump while Kinsley Allen is third in the high jump.
