
Women's Golf Remains in First Entering the Final Round of the CAA Championship

SOUTHPORT, N.C. - The College of Charleston women's golf team remains tied for the top spot at the 2025 CAA Women's Golf Championship at The Reserve Club at St. James. The Cougars are tied with UNCW at 16-over, seven strokes ahead of third place Campbell entering tomorrow's final round.
"We're excited to be in the mix going into the last round of the conference championship. This will be the 7th time we've been in the final group this year," said head coach Jamie Futrell. "Hopefully, we can draw on that experience and win the championship tomorrow."
The Cougars continue to lead the field in total birdies with 29.
Adrian Anderson and Emma Schimpf led the Cougars on Saturday with matching 1-over, 73 rounds. Anderson sank a team-high four birdies followed by Schimpf and Emilia von Glahn with three each. Anderson has recorded eight total so far through the championship, the second most of any player in the field. She also leads the field in par 5 scoring (4.63).
Molly Hardwick leads the Cougars in the individual standings at T2. She leads the field in par 3 scoring (2.63).
Charleston will look for their third CAA title in the last four seasons during tomorrow's final round.
