CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston men's tennis team ended the regular season 2-0 at home, taking down Davidson on Saturday before sweeping The Citadel on Sunday evening.
The Cougars grabbed the doubles point to start the day Saturday against Davidson, continuing to win five of the six singles courts to secure the 6-1 win.
Jordyn Larke and
Matias Gaedechens battled in three set matches to take the win on their courts.
Charleston won 7-0 against The Citadel on Sunday evening, with all five seniors earning wins on the day.
Jake Sweeney and Gaedechens secured the first court in doubles play, while
Brolin Dorsey and
Evan Pugh earned a 6-3 win on court three to earn the point for the Cougars.
Mattia Bernardi earned a win in doubles play as well as singles play, along with Sweeney and Gaedechens.
CofC will prepare for the CAA Championships starting on Thursday, April 24.
