CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston women's tennis team defeated Coker 5-2 on Monday afternoon at the Turner Tennis Center.
The Cougars grabbed the doubles point to start the day after courts two and three secured 6-1, 6-0 wins.
Maja Jekauc took the first point in singles play defeating her opponent in straight sets on court one, followed by
Sia Cariov and
Isabella De Luise to secure the victory on the day for CofC.
Oziera Ahmad wrapped up the Cougar scoring with a comeback win on court three.
Charleston will return to the court on Thursday, April 17 to face South Carolina State at home. Doubles play is set for 2:00 p.m.
