BROOKLINE, MASS. – College of Charleston baseball lost 9-0 to Northeastern Saturday afternoon at Friedman Diamond.

The Cougars slip to 22-15 and 7-7 in the CAA while the Huskies improve to a league-best 29-9 overall and 12-2 in the conference.

CRITICAL POINTS AGAINST NORTHEASTERN:
- Northeastern opened the scoring with a run in the bottom of the first before plating four runs in the third for the 5-0 lead.
- The Huskies tacked on four more runs in the sixth for a 9-0 advantage.
- Senior Dylan Johnson went 2-for-4 in the set back.

OF NOTE:
- Charleston is 15-20 overall against Northeastern and 5-9 as the visitors.
- Johnson has recorded six multi-hit contests over the last 12 ballgames.
