
Cougars Prepare for Stetson Spring Fling

DELAND, Fla. - The College of Charleston beach volleyball team will travel to DeLand, Florida for their first tournament of the 2026 season at the Stetson Spring Fling. The Cougars will have matches vs. Mercer and Stetson on Friday, February 27 before taking on Jacksonville and Eckerd on Saturday, February 28.
Charleston will look to bounce back after a 0-2 weekend against UNCW, where the Cougars fell in both matches by a score of 1-4. The pair of Ella Duffner and Alivia Newberg secured Charleston's dual win in each contest at the 3s.
Charleston has a winning record in the all-time series vs. Mercer (11-5) and Jacksonville (8-6-1), and undefeated against Eckerd (3-0), while Stetson holds the advantage over Charleston (1-11).
