
Allie Sanfelippo Places Second in Pole Vault at Collegiate invitational

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Track and field competed at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Invitational Friday and Saturday.
The Cougars competed in seven events across two days.
Freshman Allie Sanfelippo placed second in the pole vault, clearing 3.65m for a new personal best. She also competed in the long jump and jumped 5.21m. Her height places her fifth all time in Charleston history.
Laurie Ware also competed in the pole vault, clearing 3.50m. Her attempt places her eighth all time in the Charleston record book.
On the track, Aine Trapp ran the 5k in a time of 18:49.05 to place third and scored six points for the Cougars.
Mia Romer placed eighth in the 400m dash and scored one point with a time of 59.98.
Trinity Jones marked her name in the record book with a time of 25.21 in the 200m dash. Her time places her seventh all time in Charleston history.
The Cougars scored 16.33 points overall.
