
Freshmen Mark Their Names in Record Book

RALEIGH, N.C. – The College of Charleston competed at Raleigh Relays Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28 in Raleigh, N.C.
The Cougars marked five additions to the Charleston record book across both days.
Freshman, Gabby Brailsford competed in the 100m dash, running a new second-best time of 12.27 in the event.
Fellow rookie, Trinity Jones marked her name in the outdoor record book, running the 400m dash in a time of 56.44 for a new number two all-time record.
Riley Fisher marked a new tenth best time in the 200m dash to add her name to the record book. She ran a 25.51 in the event.
In the 1500m, Katie O'Toole and Abby Mogg represented Charleston, each finding personal bests. O'Toole ran a new Charleston seventh best 4:35.86 while Mogg ran a new eighth best 4:36.92.
The 4x100m relay ran a second-best all-time mark of 47.51, just three tenths of a second off the school record set last weekend at the Shamrock Invitational. Brailsford, Jones and Fisher were joined by Jackie Sides on the relay.

Up next, the Cougars will travel back to North Carolina to compete at the Duke Invitational April 9 through 11.
