Cougars Head to Durham for Duke Invitational

DURHAM, N.C. – The College of Charleston track and field program will be attending the Duke Invitational in Durham, N.C. The Cougars will be competing Friday, April 10 and Saturday, April 11.
On Friday, freshmen Gabby Brailsford and Jackie Sides will be representing the Cougars in the 100m dash at 4:15 p.m. The last time out, Brailsford marked her name in the program record book in the event with a new second-best time of 12.27.
Four Cougars will be competing in the 1500m, also on Friday, set to begin at 5:30 p.m. Sophomore Abby Mogg and Junior Katie O'Toole each ran personal bests earlier in the season at Raleigh Relays in the event.
In the field events on Friday, Kinsley Allen and Tori-Ann Anderson are entered in the high jump beginning at 11 a.m.
Saturday, freshman Trinity Jones is entered in the 400m dash, set to begin at 12:50 p.m. Jones recently ran a program second-best time of 56.44 at Raleigh Relays. Jones is also entered in the 200m dash at 3:40 p.m.
Charleston has three entered in the pole vault Saturday, including Elaine Zhai who placed ninth at Raleigh Relays clearing a height of 3.72m.
