Harrington Tabbed CAA Rookie of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – College of Charleston pitcher Carter Harrington was named the Coastal Athletic Association Rookie of the Week.
Harrington recorded his first collegiate win as Charleston defeated Hofstra, 5-1, in the CAA series opener last Friday. The right-hander limited the Pride to two singles over 5.0 scoreless innings, striking out five. With the performance, the freshman lowered his ERA to 1.88 over 14.1 innings this season.
Charleston captured its second straight weekly award as fellow first year Jake Amman earned CAA Player of the Week honors March 2.
The Cougars are back in action March 11 for a 5:30 p.m. contest at Wofford.
